Cut-To-Size Items are Non-Returnable!

As per our Shipping and Returns Policy, custom cuts and fabricated parts are non-returnable. If you need an over- or undersized item, note it under \"Comments\" during Checkout. Cut-to-size orders have an acceptable cut tolerance of 1/8" (0.125"), so clarify if the adjustment is to be made on the (+) or (-) side of the saw blade. Please review our full return and shipping policy here.

Measure Twice, Cut Once

Since custom cuts and fabricated parts are non-refundable, be very careful while measuring your dimensions. As each cut is nominal, even the slightest miscalculation could be costly.

How to Use a Measuring Tape

Extend your tape measure several inches to find the 1 and 2 inch markers. In between the inch markers you’ll find 16 equally spaced tick marks.

Measure by counting the increments beyond the nearest inch. As the increments decrease, so does the length of the mark. For example, 1/2\" has a bigger mark than 1/4\" which has a bigger mark than 1/8\". The smallest mark follows at 1/16\". Please be aware that some measuring tapes may have even smaller increments.

Features of a Measuring Tape: Sliding End Hook

The sliding end hook is designed for two different types of measurements. An outside measurement (where the hook of the tape hangs over an edge), requires the hook to slide out a bit to account for the thickness of the material. When making an inside measurement (where the hook will push up against a surface), the clip slides in, again, accounting for its thickness. The measuring tape self-adjusts to guarantee an accurate measurement (as far as the tape is concerned).

Description

Advanced Multiwall Cladding: The Rigid Alternative to FRP

Duraclad™ interlocking PVC liner panels are made for environments where standard thin-sheet liners fail. Their specialized 1/2" thick multiwall structure delivers superior structural strength and rigidity compared to standard single-wall PVC liners and fiberglass reinforced panels (FRP).

Designed as a rugged, installer-friendly alternative to traditional FRP and drywall, these panels provide a lightweight yet exceptionally tough solution for moisture-prone and demanding interior environments.

Duraclad™ utilizes thicker inner walls to resist impact and prevent bowing, all while maintaining a smooth, high-gloss finish. It is a great choice for facilities requiring a 100% waterproof, hygienic surface that is virtually maintenance-free.

Why Choose Duraclad™ Multiwall Panels?

Duraclad™ is the ideal choice for high-moisture agricultural and industrial cladding. Unlike thin, single-sheet liners, Duraclad's multiwall design ensures:

  • Zero-Exposure Fastening: The interlocking tongue-and-groove system features a pre-slotted nailing flange. This hides all fasteners behind the face of the next panel, creating a flush, fastener-free surface that prevents bacteria buildup and simplifies high-pressure power washing.
  • Sanitary Excellence: Its non-porous surface is inherently resistant to bacteria, mold, and mildew, meeting FDA/USDA requirements for walls and ceilings.
  • Extreme Chemical Resistance: Engineered to withstand harsh cleaning agents, industrial chemicals, and corrosive gases emitted by animal waste.
  • ASTM Class A Fire Rating: Certified non-flammable with a Class A fire rating (ASTM E84-17a)—suitable for a wide range of regulated commercial structures.
  • Expansion-Ready Design: Unlike glued FRP, which can crack or delaminate during temperature swings, Duracladâ??s mechanical fastening system "floats," allowing for natural thermal expansion and contraction without compromising the seal or structural integrity.

Duraclad™ vs. Traditional FRP: Which Do You Need?

While both materials are used for sanitary wall cladding, Duraclad™ offers distinct advantages in installation and longevity.

  • Choose Duraclad™ (This Panel) for faster, cleaner installations. It requires no messy adhesives or trim-heavy transitions and offers better impact resistance due to its internal rib structure.
  • Choose FRP for low-clearance areas where an ultra-thin profile is required. Note that FRP often involves adhesives and visible fasteners for proper securing/bonding.

Installation & Accessories

Duraclad™ is designed for efficiency, installing directly onto wall studs or over existing surfaces. For optimum performance, use color-matched installation accessories. Components like J-Trim, H-Dividers, and Inside/Outside Corners are designed to house the panel edges for a fully water-tight and professional seal. This material can be cut and drilled using standard woodworking tools.
